TSG Workshop: Thoughts About Understanding Light in Photography

Furthermore, it's one of the most under appreciated. The word “photography," has roots in Greek and literally means, "drawing with light." Understanding light and paying attention to it is one of the quickest ways to improve your photography. Light is one of the most creative elements, arguably, the most important creative element in art. Your use of lighting is what gives your photographs impact, setting the viewer up to experience specific feelings of mood, emotion, atmosphere, and drama. This presentation will hopefully give you some ideas on how to take control of your lighting choices, as well as using the creative potential of light to interpret and define. A variety of lighting conditions, White Balance, Metering, Artificial Sources, and Lighting Styles will be discussed, time permitting.; Link: Register Here
